In 1993 the Second Owner Wrote to Super Chevy Magazine explaining what He had found sitting in a Garage for 11 Years, Super Chevy Magazine Responded and Broke Down the Numbers, T=Tonawanda Engine Plant; 01=Month (January); 31= Day of the Month; IX= 427 cid/385 hp with Four-Speed and AIR. I have that Magazine along with Receipts dating back to 1989. Any Southgate Cars from 1967-1970 had a Handwritten Piece of Paper Showing Various Interior Information including Carpet Codes and some Options. I have that Piece of Paper and an Original Set of Keys Framed. In 2000 Dennis Greg from My Classic Car did an Interview with the Car. NO THIS CAR HAS NEVER BEEN TO MECUM. You go to Car Shows and You’ll see Camaros, Mustangs, Corvettes, Chevelles, C10s, You will Not See One of These. PLEASE do Your Homework in Regards to this Car.
