Highly Documented 1967 Numbers Matching SS 427 L36 Built in Southgate California. Has its Functional Smog Pump, Factory Disc Brakes, Factory M20 Transmission, Factory 12 Bolt Posi Rear End with 331 Gears. Car Drives Amazing, Zero Rust. This is a Rare Collectors Car. In 1993 the Second Owner Wrote to Super Chevy Magazine explaining what He had found sitting in a Garage for 11 Years, Super Chevy Magazine Responded and Broke Down the Numbers, T=Tonawanda Engine Plant; 01=Month (January); 31= Day of the Month; IX= 427 cid/385 hp with Four-Speed and AIR. I have that Magazine along with Receipts dating back to 1989. Any Southgate Cars from 1967-1970 had a Handwritten Piece of Paper Showing Various Interior Information including Carpet Codes and some Options. I have that Piece of Paper and an Original Set of Keys Framed. In 2000 Dennis Greg from My Classic Car did an Interview with the Car. NO THIS CAR HAS NEVER BEEN TO MECUM. You go to Car Shows and You’ll see Camaros, Mustangs, Corvettes, Chevelles, C10s, You will Not See One of These. PLEASE do Your Homework in Regards to this Car. The last Picture is of One that’s For Sale in Pennsylvania for $118K, and it is Not Numbers Matching. And if You have anything Negative to Say, Please don’t be Disrespectful. Thank You! Cars: Late 60s and Early 70s American Make & Models but also the 1990 Corvette ZR-1. The choice of a single car would depend on several factors, such as location and intended use. But a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro or 1971 Plymouth Cuda would rank pretty high on the list.
