This Chevrolet Corvette is #33 of 68 examples modified by Callaway Cars of Old Lyme, Connecticut for the 1989 model year, and it was first delivered to Malcolm Konner Chevrolet of Paramus, New Jersey. The car is finished in Bright Red over red leather, and power is provided by a twin-turbocharged 5.7-liter V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission with electronic overdrive. A Callaway C.O.I.L. coilover suspension was installed by Callaway Cars in 1996. Additional equipment includes a removable tinted-glass roof panel, a color-matched roof panel, a Callaway AeroBody kit, 17″ Dymag wheels, pop-up headlights, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a Delco/Bose cassette stereo. The car was acquired by the selling dealer in April 2024, and work in preparation for the sale included replacing the tires, servicing the fuel injectors, and changing the oil. This Callaway C4 shows 32k miles and is now offered as part of the Coffee Walk Corvette Collection in Wylie, Texas, at no reserve with a GM build sheet, Callaway production order and final inspection sheets, a Callaway owner’s manual, a Carfax report, and a clean Texas title. |
